Client Agreement


What you say during the sessions is confidential. There are a few legal and ethical exceptions:

If I believe you are at risk of serious harm to yourself or others.

If you divulge serious criminal acts of terrorism, money laundering, child abuse or if I am instructed to disclose what has been discussed by a UK court order

I receive professional supervision to ensure I am working in an appropriate and effective way. I may discuss elements of our work however your anonymity will be maintained.

Practice Regulation

Counselling, Coaching and Therapy is conducted within the ethical framework and guidelines of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) to which I adhere and am a registered member:

Overseas clients and non UK residents/nationals agree that these services are being undertaken in accordance with UK laws and any disputes will be subject UK law.


Contact between sessions unless agreed is not usual except for matters relating to arranging, cancelling sessions, acknowledge receipt of fees etc  by phone, text or email.

Sessions & Payment

Sessions are 50 minutes and fees are £50 for individual sessions and £75 for couples sessions. Payment is via online banking or Paypal and is due prior to the start of the session.

Cancellation and Ending

Notice of holidays will be given as far in advance as possible by both counsellor and client.

Please notify me of cancellations as soon as possible. Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged for at the full session fee. After two missed or cancelled sessions I may withdraw my counselling services.

If you do not rebook or contact me within 3 days of your last session or by a date agreed in advance then I will assume that you have discontinued working with me then the session will then be made available to other clients.

General Data Protection Regulations

I hold and process your personal details and counselling notes on paper and digitally such as emails and contact information. These are not shared with any third parties unless subject to a court order.

Session notes are encrypted and stored for six years as a professional requirement of my insurance cover. After this period they will be destroyed.
